What We Offer

Courses Built for Every Driver

Whether you're a teen behind the wheel for the first time or a licensed driver looking to renew — we have a program that fits your goals.

Defensive Driving Course

Master the techniques that prevent accidents before they happen. Our state-approved curriculum covers hazard recognition, collision avoidance, and smart decision-making on the road.

DMV Road Test Preparation

Don't let the road test stress you out. We coach you through every part of the DMV evaluation — parallel parking, lane changes, turns, and the confidence to handle anything the examiner throws at you.

Teen Driver Education

Give your teenager the foundation they need for a lifetime of safe driving. Our teen program covers classroom instruction and supervised behind-the-wheel training tailored to Kentucky's graduated licensing requirements.

License Renewal Classes

Your license is expiring or was suspended? Our renewal courses get you back on the road legally and safely — fast, straightforward, and without the hassle.

Private Driving Lessons

One-on-one instruction that fits your schedule and learning style. Whether you need a refresher or extra practice, our patient instructors tailor every lesson to your needs.

New Driver Orientation

Just got your permit? We'll walk you through everything you need to know before you ever step behind the wheel — from dashboard controls to Kentucky traffic laws.

What Our Students Say

Don't just take our word for it — hear from the drivers who started with us and are now confidently behind the wheel.

"I was terrified of driving — my daughter had to nag me for months. A-1 Safety made me feel comfortable from the very first lesson. I passed my road test on the first try, and I actually enjoy driving now!"

MR
Maria R.
Teen Driver Parent

"After my suspension, I was nervous about getting back behind the wheel. The team at A-1 was non-judgmental and incredibly supportive. They helped me rebuild my confidence and pass my retest cleanly."

JT
James T.
License Renewal Student

"I drove for 20 years and thought I didn't need a refresher — until I took the defensive driving course. My instructor pointed out habits I didn't even know I had. Worth every penny for the peace of mind alone."
